I think I'll pass on learning that one. 23
A laugh a Day / The Stinky Broom Kata« Last post by Inu on January 03, 2013, 09:22:28 pm »I am fully aware that we do not do weapon Katas in our form. However, out of necessity, I devised one this evening. I have decided to call it the "Stinky Broom Kata". The Bunkai of this kata is simply this: How you use a broom to get a skunk out of your house after the dogs have chased it inside. This Kata involved a great deal of jumping and kiais that are high pitched and sqeal like. As a conclusion, you light many scented candles and weep!!!
On a side note, I recommend that if you let the dogs out the back door at night be certain there is not a skunk outside wating to be chased into your home! 24

General Discussion / Re: Please introduce yourself« Last post by Sensei Stephens on January 03, 2013, 08:41:14 pm »Osu!
I am Sensei Stephens. I may be a hardcase in the training room, but I am always there for those in need. Please do not hesitate to come to me for anything. The worst that can happen is I'll do what I can. I live for this job and I believe that the martial arts are far more than just fighting. There is a spiritual aspect that many never come to understand and a mindset that grants a level of inner peace that only a true warrior could hope for. 29
